Our first project for Container World consisted of basic sewing training done by Upskill Africa under the Knoop Umbrella, paired with basic business management FP&M Seta accredited training took place in Chesterville, just outside Durban. Since then, we have done projects in Lamontville and River Horse Valley.

 

What makes this collaboration unique, is that we always include a percentage of foreign nationals, and all learners are included in the Upskill Social Cohesion program. It has resulted in great understanding amongst women from different origin, living alongside each other in the same communities.
